I know that hurricanes are the earths way of cooling the oceans down hence they start in the tropics and work their way up the Gulf Stream but when they cross over into our Labrador current that usually kills them and they clobber us with their dieing gasps:-)

with the cold spring we've had I can't imagine the ocean temp being warm enough to power a good hurricane up here anyway.

I am a pain sissy and I have been stung by paper wasps.I barely felt them.I'd say their the least painful of any bee/wasp I"ve been stung by.The worst I"d have to say would be German Yellowjackets or the Bumblebee.Never got hit yet by Mud Daubers or Bald Faced Hornets.

Beautiful uniforms.makes you wonder how they kept them that clean after a march of about 50 miles across the Barrens in summer.The again for what they cost I"d probably have wore my jeans on the march and waited till i hit the Battlefield to whip out the uniform.
