    GUy a vehicle can get in there from the north off of Moores meadow road.I have driven back there but it's hairy,some nasty puddles that are no problem for me but you may not want to try it till summer.

    I originally got to the islands i mentioned by crossing Roberts Branch.It was quite a tighrope walk across a downed cedar.we found a large well built duck blind visible here. http://binged.it/1i39HcE a real nice area.

    There are a couple islands northeast of where you were that are very nice.They are along Roberts Branch and there is a trail going to them but it's a very wet swamp crossing to get there.

    I was looking for those stones when I went up there.Only found one up there and it's all the way up in the northwest corner of the property that I found it,next to a ditch.

    I ran into that canoeing back in about 1978.Never knew what it was till it was posted on this forum years ago.
