DEP Announces Virtual Public Meeting to Launch Wharton State Forest Visitor and Vehicle Use Survey

I agree, that's what it sounds like. I don't think it's going to be very interactive. Sounds like the survey will be where people will be able to give input rather than this meeting.

DEP determined to resolve pinelands access disputes

I drive along that route through Wharton on Jackson Road on a daily basis. It's a paved road. I don't know if the permit plan would apply to paved (improved) roads. If it did, I think it would be hugely unpopular.

EHC is trying to redevelop part of the city lake park into a warehouse

I know this issue was settled when the township tossed out the plan, but I wrote a post about it recently. Just thought the history of EHC and the issues surrounding development were interesting: Growth Versus Preservation in Egg Harbor City

DEP determined to resolve pinelands access disputes

One of the questions that come up around this discussion seems to be the definition of "off-road." I've talked to a couple people who are in favor of restricting access who say they don't consider driving on public dirt roads like Quaker Bridge Road "off-road" use.

Getting to Mount / Washington without a mudder vehicle or dirtbike?

I've been curious about trying to follow the stage road myself. Sounds challenging. I've got a Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk. It's got it's own GPS which is pretty good but not always accurate.

    Lines on the Pines 2022

Didn't get a chance to post this before but I attended Lines on the Pines as well as the Stockton Short Course and wrote a blog post about the weekend: Celebrating the Past and Shaping the Future in Galloway. I had a great time, in spite of the weather, and look forward to participating next year.
