    danger in the pines?

i think it's kind of impossible to understand the essence of a place in two weeks. also, he was in a place set off just for tracker school, so he doesn't know what any other of the people who live in the pines are like. he just wants me to be safe; he wasn't making an attack on the barrens, he's...

    danger in the pines?

i've heard from a few people that carrying a concealed sword is legal, i'll try to find the laws on that. i dont have much of an intention of carrying a sword with me on a regular basis; learning to use one would be interesting though.

    danger in the pines?

he said he learned more at tracker school than he learned collectively in 12 and a half years in school. he's shared his notebook from his tracker school philosophy class with me; it's all very profound. he also took the standard class. apparently, you can read every single one of tbj's books...

    danger in the pines?

i do not agree with him, he's only been to jersey twice for tom brown's tracking school, and he just worries about my safety. as for sword toting, it is legal if it's concealed. i usually carry a 4" sheath knife on me, i do not intend on keeping a sword at hand when i go camping and such...

    something weird

did it sound anything like a coyote? maybe a pack? i'd lay my bet on that.. they can sound quite unnerving to one who is not used to them.

    Camping on Delaware Water Gap

Greetings all! I'm planning a camping trip for mid January with a friend of mine, and I wanted to camp on or near the Delaware Water Gap. I've got to find a place that's open year round, and preferrably offers sites for tent camping exclusively (it's not roughing it if there's an RV parked next...
