    Trestle near Hebrew Park

Stu, The trestle that is there was part of the Barnegt Branch of the CNJ's Souther Division. This line will become a rail-trail from South Toms River to Barnegat soon. Some person I chat with says he has seen people fishing from the trestle on a few occasions. Hope this helps. Ken

    Yahoo

I hope not. Sometimes discussing politics on a message board can ignite some very hostile posts. My Yahoo mail has been work fine. However, they must be performing a cut-over (based on region?)as I had a problem about several weeks ago. Here's something that may be of interest to web-based...

Story in Burlington County Times June 14th, 2004

They sure did spend a lot of time in the Pines. Wasn't William Buzby referred to the King of the Pines at one time? Did Beck ever receive such notoriety during his time?

    Forked River area

I've seen some property owners have even gone through the job of creating sand walls to keep people out. I do feel sorry for them. My biggest concern is not receiving a summons but being shot at if I made the mistake of trespassing. I'm very careful as to where I explore. Ken (Benny or...

    Carranza Memorial in wraps

I wonder if they should have just left the covering on until after the memorial in July. Not that this would stop these Neanderthals but at least make it a little more difficult.

    South Jersey Off-roading

I may just do that this year. If you can post a reminder about a month prior to the project it will certainly help me remember. Also, what are the three most things you wind up finding? Can I take a guess? 1) Liquor bottles 2) Ammo 3) Tires Was I close?

    Forked River area

I take it that the privately owned proprieties are marked as to not trespass? I've only been there once and really didn't remember seeing any signs. My only recollection of my trip last year with the group were two very surprised people in the front seat of a car who burned rubber after we...

I wonder if he was referring to the Ramapo Mountains. Does anyone know what proof this is? I've also heard it referred as clear-water, I believe. Either way, I couldn't go beyond 151 Rum :D

    BUGS, BEARS, AND BACTERIA

Oh yea!!! That and the combination of some problems with raw sewage makes for a very unpleasant stay. I once had those green-head flies follow me back (1/4 mile) to the hotel that I stayed at. Damn, those things are determined.
