Thanks for the clarification. I always thought that Wharton was part of Burlington/Ocean but not Camden.

According to this site, it states that Wharton State forest is in Camden county. I always thought it was Burlington.

2 Suspects in Lacey bird killings kept in Jail

I'm sick to my stomach just reading about not only the animals fate but to know that these predators will serve no time. Disgusting. What about the other Neanderthal that set the dogs on fire but managed to live? Are they going to buy him an ice cream cone :x

    Carranza Memorial Toilet

There's a brand new one right at the Sparta train station they were attempting to restore. Unfortunately, the funding was cut so all that's left is some new wiring and a new toilet.

    railroads in the pines

I was looking at the Delorme map and noticed that, according to the map, the tracks are missing from just north of Atsion to where it picks us where they start again just south of Carranza. I wonder if this is accurate? If so, how did the tracks disappear? Where they removed or wash out. Hmm

    railroads in the pines

I wish there were still trains that ran in the Pines. What fun it must have been to explore where it is real quiet only to hear the CNJ or Conrail approaching. I'm with you my man. Imagine being out there along the Forked River pulling moss and hearing the forlorn whistle of the ol' Engine...

    railroads in the pines

Looks like I got caught  Actually, I was going to purchase a real train horn and connect it to my vehicle until I found out how much it costs. I was going to use it when traveling through the pines. The Ghost train. Strange, I know  I wish there were still trains that ran in...

    strange email

I received this about threeof these last years. I had to chuckle but there's always someone out there that will give. I believe last year some woman in NY had created a web site (sorry, don't remember the name) to pay off her debts. It worked for her as she is now debt-free at the time of the...
