Pine Barrens Clean up Oct 26th.

I am going. This issue has been grandstanded to death so I've just concerned myself with meeting up with some peeps, having a nice day together and getting a job done. Well, that and some indulging at the Pic afterwards. g.

    Mummies for Paper?

This is all very interesting yes, however much is valid, or not. Good topic. When considering the many paper castoffs of such a production, I am given to wonder the chances of an end product ever being fine rolling papers. Hmmm, hittin' some green laced with Mummy dust. Some thoughts are...

    barren nights

Scott, I had no idea. That sucks man. It was evident on the cleanups that your constant companion tagged along for every ride. So sorry for you and for Dott. Keep ahold of the good stuff like logging in a ton of walks and good hunts. g.

    Tent camping?

I got all kind a stuff. Not sure what I'm reading, kinda like going in word circles and I'm no legal sort but the links did get me somewhere. Guess if nothing else I'll bone up on Casino's regulations. It's in there, along with Equine advisory board rules if anyone's interested. g.

    Batsto Question

Chris, Which club? I used to be with the Original Garden State Corvette Club. We teamed up with Medford Lakes Vettes occasionally. I got away from the club thing because honestly it's very catty and I just want to ride. Guy is right... fall is major for Vette & Nature together. My...

    Atsion Mansion opening soon.

The human tale is in the families that lived and entertained within those walls. Most of us know the history and I am sure there will be little "tourist friendly" plaques with small bites of info for those that do not. I actually can not imagine what the offering for artifacts will be that you...

    Atsion Mansion opening soon.

Regardless of how I feel the project was handled... I am in folks! I may actually be in good behavior. The Pic afterwards calls our names though. I have a full fall schedule but I am trying to keep it versatile for this. Given the Batsto event & the cleanup, both affecting Atsion, I do not...

How long does the red last in all the bogs around

Have you tried some of the stuff on the MSN Birdseye View site but just don't zoom in quite as far? Turn your angles and direction and the images taken at different times of year may reveal what you are looking for. I play with the site all the time. Just a suggestion. g.

    Hunting Seasons Begin 9-13-08

German & Scott, good points both. Perhaps my wording should have been when to "watch out" I don't stay out myself because cold weather beats all for not getting ticks & chigs. I do however pay closer attention than I would out of season and it is nice to know when fellows are out so...

Pro or Con hunter, B/S... Who gives a hang how folks hunt. I don't care for some and respect others but I'll keep that to myself. Be thankful Scott has given you a tool to guage when it is safe for you to be out and when not. The tool also services the hunters who pay dearly (or is it Deerly)...

'It seemed to be a body from WWII'

Dig it! Forget WWII Airman. This has Roswell written all over it. Tree branch. Vines. Bahh! But then, some of the world's mysteries are best left alone. Keeps an air of intoxicating mystery about them. Remember how Geraldo screwed us all with the vault?! Think of what he would...

One mother of an ore pond and something else?

Jeff, Very nice pics and a trek that deserves praise. Seems it was a bit of a task. While I know they're out there somewhere, it is hard to imagine areas in these lush green pines with deposits so rich that the orange color almost hurts the eyes to look at it. A fantastic find sir. Isn't...
