    Raptor Festival SATURDAY (not Sunday)

Renee, I'm not sure what you mean by "which it was". It is not any of the ruins at Hampton Furnace. It is before you get there from Rt206. Here is a link to where I think it is. It is about 25 yards off Hampton Rd and is easily seen from the road...

    Raptor Festival SATURDAY (not Sunday)

All, I went to the Raptor Festival this morning along with a few friends for the 7am sunrise walk. We saw many different birds there including Snow and Canadian Geese, Harriers, Woodpeckers, Herons, Red Winged Blackbirds and many many more that I don't remember the names of. What a fantastic...

    Batsto Fireline Rd

Fro, I haven't been able to make that road with my mini ute. The puddles always turn me back. One of these days I'll make it. Maybe I'm just chicken sinse Moose drove the high pass puddle at calico in his Subaru which stands lower than my Escape. There is and area that you can get to from...

    North of Nash's Cabin

Fro, The farthest I've been on Martha Rd is to were there had been a cedar cut back in the 70's. I think you can make it in your car. The coords are: 39D 42.6244 74D 29.9521 It looks like there would be so good hiking back there. Steve

    Super Bowl

They are saying that the red lace was not supposed to come off. On the news last night they were showing it in slo-mo and by their reactions I think they both were quite surprized at the....ummmm....out come.

    Mount NJ

Yep. It's located on Washington Rd east of Penn Swamp. From Quaker Bridge heading east, just past Penn Swamp, Washington Rd forks to the left. The road is narrow and a little rough but passable.

    Sassafras ?

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. There is an area off Quaker Bridge Rd, not too far from Atsion, that looks like it had been inhabited in the past. There is at least one sassafras tree there that I recall. There may be more. Ken, if you still have it in your GPS the waypoint is "QB1".
