There was also a high rate of seed germination this year. I had several species in the ground that for years did not germinate, but this year there were thousands, unfortunately this held true for weed seeds as well.

Greetings, Yes its been a long time. So much going on including finally moving to my own land. Have a nearby population of Pine Barrens Gentians, about 16 plants I counted. Finally got a decent shot of them during the mid day in full sun. I did it as an upload file here.

I went to a Frog Slog last year in the spring, maybe April or early May. Lots of kids there and they had a great time. It was on Union Ave in Cumberland County just before Bears Head Rd. If I hear they are having it again, I will post it. I believe I did last year as well.

Yea, its bad. My sister had trouble getting home from Brigantine, where she teaches. I went shopping in Mays Landing tonite and there is no one in the stores.
