PL Hiking Trails with Extensive Closed Canopy?

I've been exploring the Quaker Bridge Road area at Atsion lately. I'll drive along and stop at a trail, pull off the road where I can and hike it some. I try to do this at least once a week. Today was absolutely gorgeous to be out there. I hated to come home.

    Ted Gordon speaks about Beck

That's OK Guy. We first met at the Atsion get together/tour of the mansion. Then I bumped into to a couple times at Atsion ranger station parking lot. Last time you were out with Mr. Gordon, and getting ready to leave when I came by.

    Help with an ID

Thanks for all the info guys!! It's much appreciated. I was about 95.5% sure it was a dog, due to the fact there were other dog prints in the area. but something told me to at least double check with some one.

    Lines on the Pines 2012

I'd love to go but, I have to play it by ear. I have a grandson due on March 18th, but with the way my daughter is showing, she may just go sooner. Can you purchase tickets at the door??

    Help with an ID

Hi All, Found this print near Quaker Bridge on Wednesday morning. I'm pretty sure it's canine, but want to double check with those who are more knowledgable. The lens cap is approximately 2 inches in diameter. Thanks!!!

    Jeeps

Guy, I really liked the FJ memories you shared. I'm a sucker for learning about new things. LOL!! I just purchased a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara on the 11th. Kinda like a semi retirement gift for myself, if you will. Heading out to Quaker Bridge Road tomorrow to get the feel of it on the sand. I...

    Baileytown

Dragon, I was little when my grandfather told me about them. I do remember him saying "when I was a kid". So, he was born in 1898, so I'd say early 1900's. Sorry if your disappointed. However, I too am willing to bet there is a population of them down there somewhere, albeit a small one. I...

    Baileytown

Thanks Al! I do remember my mother mentioning Buckshutem Rd., so I would imaging the yard and cellar hole you found would be my great grandparents property at one time. On a side note, which you of all people will like, I remember my grandfather telling me that the place had tons of "rattler"...

    Baileytown

Al, you had asked before if I had relatives named Bartholomew in the Baileytown area. Well, this much I can tell you, my great grandparents owned a farm on the land where Millville airport is now. The govt. came in, bought there farm, put in an airfield and trained pilots there.

    Canon D60 Lense Question

Gibby, AF is fast enough for what I'm doing with it, and the focus ring is smooth. I've read reviews where they say the lens creep is horrible. Well, Canon must've fixed that, cause mine has no creep at all. If you order online, give B&H a shot, they've been terrific for me.

    Canon D60 Lense Question

Gibby, I got the 50D and love it!! It came with the 18-200. I then purchased the 70-200L series for sports work I'm doing. The first lens I got for it after I bought it was the 100-400L series for wildlife, and a 50 1.4. Just got a 15-85 which stays on the camera all the time now. I really like...

Traveler's Forecast for the Pine Barrens

I was out there at Atsion Saturday afternoon. Weather couldn't have been better, but the roads were pretty bad. Went down Quaker Bridge from Atsion, and saw a guy in a pick up just like mine sitting between 2 "lakes". He said the first one was passable but wasn't to sure about the 2nd one...
