Just a comment on the petition, and really the overall message that needs to be discussed - The PPA has been very effective at defining the conversation and driving the narrative, which will always come back in their favor. I think the second to last paragraph of the petition really plays into...

I've written, my wife has written & I've been asking everyone I've talked to to write letters too. Dont think that is enough though, but still trying to figure out what to can be done next. Feel like a counter message that says responsible use of the forest (ie conservation) is a good thing...

The sugar sand was purposely left there. They are going to have volunteers with cameras stationed by the sugar sand to snap pictures of everyone that gets stuck to document the "illegal ORV damage".

Perhaps that was the case 25 years ago when they started, but I strongly disagree the PPA is an ally. In fact, I would consider them a bigger threat then Walmart. The PPA and their radical view of a preserved Pinelands doesn't include me, or anyone really, unless you want pay the PPA to escort...
