This was 1117 exposures. 30s F2.8 ISO320 @ 34s intervals. Do the stars and moon travel exactly together? Well, maybe if my favorite travel agent had her way... ;-)

I crawled on my belly in icy mud and snow to get this close... I just wish there was more sunlight. Enjoy. I never saw a black Vulture in New Jersey before today... maybe I never looked hard enough.

#2 Helmet recommended... We used to Ski Loon, Canon and Bretton Woods for a week every year back in the '70's and '80's. We stayed in Lincoln. They had a local cable access weather report from the guys at the top of Mount Washington. One time they showed how they had to dig about 5 feet of snow...

That was a handrail. This is on a marked trail at Wells Mills. A very nice walk without snow as well.

The good thing about this weather is that you can leave frozen food in the car and stop and go for walks. Come walk with me in the snow...
