    Exactly!...82 acres for $79,995. Unimproved and agricultural land is usually taxed at a very low rate and at that assessed value taxes are only $1,488 a year! For a healthy retiree who likes the outdoors it seems like paradise.

    Excellent. Thanks for the replies. Spring fed, shorter waterway, cooler temps, and PH/Iron factors....I have yet to visit but several folks on this site have commented on how clear the water is...always wondered why...I appreciate the feedback.

    PPA has sued to attempt to prevent this development......the original 2000 homes or so would still be approved...but they are fighting this significantly larger development. The attached articles (above) have some further details on follow up meetings etc
