Proposed natural gas pipeline through the NJPB's?

What the hell does fracking have to do with this pipeline. Every article i read talks about the opposition to fracking and this project, how are the two related in regards to the pinelands?

Plan to put gas pipeline in Pinelands spurs ire

I understand the whole it violates the CMP and you can't let them win one battle...but I don't see this really as that big of a deal. They are going under existing roads, they will be preserving more land along the ROW. The later is very important, there is alot of endangered species down...

    Sasquatch hunters descend upon Chatsworth

Exactly that Al. For years i would hear it afar and never new what it was. This past season one dive bombed me and made the noise. Its a bizzare sound, a cross between a growl and a car starting. I would guess most folks would have no clue and assign the noise to bigfoot or some other nonsense.

    Sasquatch hunters descend upon Chatsworth

20 secs into the nighthawk grunt is the call that had me stumped for 2-3 years. Im telling you that a nighty making that call over you will scare the hell out of you and sounds like a bigfoot growling.

Dumping in Pinelands / Crackdown needed

I should say the trash enhances the habitat (eventhough its unsightly). The animals would be there without it, but in some areas it aids them.

Dumping in Pinelands / Crackdown needed

The trash issue with the rarties is a unique one. The reality, some of the best habitat I know for T/E species was created from trash, almost comical. If forest were properly managed the animals would have natural alternatives, but in many areas the trash is all they have. I use to try and...

Flood repairs at Cumberland County lakes may be matter for courts

Leave it a river and let all the natural wetlands and marsh come back in, will have far greater beauty and ecological benefit.

    Sasquatch hunters descend upon Chatsworth

If you ever watch the show you'll just hear one of them say 'that was a squatch'. They never replay the audio of the noises for the viewers, you just have to trust what they heard, the show is nearly fake. I mean they are going to come here when there is no history or sightings to speak of...

    Sasquatch hunters descend upon Chatsworth

I should note I don't want to take anything away from Adam who helped coordinate the show coming here. I just think the show is completely bogus and it will be laughable what kind of noises they claim to be big foot. The woods is quiet this time of year so it should be interesting, my guess is...

    Sasquatch hunters descend upon Chatsworth

Njpb users have spent a collective 9,564,345,182 hours in the woods, utterly no evidence to support an animal. Bigfoot searchers will spend like 2-3 hours and find it, ashame people are so fing stupid.

Man Goes Missing During Hunting Trip

Did the fellow hunters in his club help look for him? I heard he parked on beaver dam but which side does he hunt. That woods you either bushwack or walk hunter/animal trails. It would seem unlikely a person hunting would bushwack.

Man Goes Missing During Hunting Trip

It seems that a hunter should be easy to find in that spot. The area is densely vegatated and signs of foot traffic should be noticeable. Hunters dont deviate far from established paths and habits I would think. Im very suprised he hast been found, im wondering if its because the overall lack...

Plan to put gas pipeline in Pinelands spurs ire

Reality is right a ways usually enhance the wildlife in an area. I understand them not wanting to give on anything but I just don't think this is that big of a deal. There are far worse threats that we shouldn't give in to. But i understand people not wanting to lose any battles.
