The wind just picked up here in Forked River. It was like a switch. I had the dogs out and all was good. Then all of a sudden a huge gust and now it is windy here.

A few years back, I was night hiking on the Batona through Parker Preserve. Around 2 o clock you could hear multiple packs yipping but not howling.
