Could also just be somewhere to store the timbers off the ground. They are some serious hunks of wood.

It looks like a platform for a tent. Doubt those thin metal legs could hold anything near what the timbers could, probably sink into the sand.

I would just seem odd to use one at a primitive site ;)

Yep, it was on my laptop, which is rarely used anymore, and I did the download. The one on the desktop showed up all by itself, I am guessing by an auto update. All saved stuff was there. Tried the one on Chrome, it sits trying to load.

I did some looking; no more regular version for IE, just Pro but no fee under 'Older Versions' at the link. They are pushing a new web based version in Chrome. I had auto updates, so that's where it probably came from. https://www.google.com/earth/

Did the regular GE morph into GE Pro? I found Pro on my system and the regular one gone. I do not remember getting it. Works just fine with all I had saved in the old one.
