    Is Carranza Rd open?

And you were driving on Carranza Rd (not Hakwins Bridge Rd, btw)? Look at the target: https://online.boydsmaps.com/#17/39.75013/-74.58487/pines2020 If so, the ranger is either inept or full of sh*t. Either way, I'd contact the Park Police about it.

    Corduroy Road near Atco Dragway?

Check out historic aerials. There was a least a house and several other buildings (possibly other houses). Looks like a compound of sorts.

Derelict Houses on Indian Cabin Road, Egg Harbor City, NJ

The property contains the remains of the sewage treatment plant for Amatol. I was told the land was recently sold, but I'm not sure to whom. The general store/gas station was here: https://online.boydsmaps.com/#19/39.62614/-74.65430/njgin2007i One of my earliest memories of the store involves...

    Cemetery Searching

"he cleared a two-by-three foot strip of land next to one of the homes nearby." Is there a typo here? I asked my grandmother about Clyde. She said that his general store was up and running in 1942 when my great grandfather bought the cabin on the Mullica. My great grandfather called Clyde...

Clyde Birdsall. He owned the general store with the Gulf gas station that is now about to completely collapse.

On the ground with the high-res LIDAR

https://online.boydsmaps.com/#17/39.84274/-74.69833/lidar2021bw Clearly a giant footprint. Obviously an extinct species of three-toed animal. @Spung-Man might try to tell you that it is a deflationary basin from the pleistocene or some such nonsense. Don't buy it.

Likely not, but why not have some fun with it?

On the ground with the high-res LIDAR

There is a raised circular feature around "B". I'm going out on a limb and suggesting impact crater.

What to look for when trying to find an old watermill site

The feature certainly appears on the lidar image; it just wasn't an actual feature on the ground. I wonder why.

    Charcoal pit locations?

Up around Sleep Creek (of Mullica fame ) too. These things are way more abundant than I had realized. This new lidar is revolutionary.
