It's about 10 miles between Atsion and Batsto, so I'm thinking "10 miles to Batsto" is referring to the length of the road between the two. So what's the deal with the building near the kiln that appears to have a cross on it?

The ore beds depicted on the map are below constable bridge. There is plenty or iron seeping along the stream on this stretch.

Constable is upstream from the Sleeper (mechescatauxin).

Unless there were two lime kilns at batsto, this map is woefully inaccurate with regards to the location of the kiln.
