    Coyotes running wild.

My uncle's cousin's brother in law's sister's husband's grandfather told me the same thing. Go figure. Actually, the most popular version is: The first few coyotes that were shot in NJ had collars on them indicating that they were from Texas! The hunters supposedly tracked the collars to a...

    Beer (again)

    Beer (again)

Bob, I think you would love the beer my kid drinks at school. It's Lions Head Beer, made in Wilkes Barre. Clean and crisp. $10.00 +/- a case and you can't beat it with a stick. Here is a Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion_Brewery,_Inc. Notice what it says about...

    I want a gun...

A Ruger Mini-14 is not the gun on which to train Boy Scouts. In another year or two, with the way the price of ammunition is going, no one will be able to afford to shoot a semi-auto centerfire like the Mini. Even .22 rimfire ammo is starting to get steep and places like Dick's are running out...

    I want a gun...

The first step is to go to your local PD and fill out the paperwork for a NJ Firearms Purchasers ID Card. Start now while you're still young. Depending on your PD, this process will take anywhere from a few months to close to a year. My son has been waiting 6 months and counting. There is a...

Nice truck. For a Chevy! :) Best body style they ever had. It really is a nice truck Whitingrider. Its an oldy and a goody. My dream truck was always a '79 F-350. Unfortunately, by the time I could afford one it was 1997! So, I bought a '97 F-350. I still have it and it is bulletproof...

    Someone's Last Stand

I found this fallen, decaying tree last week in Parkdale when I was walking with my wife. For me, it held stories because it was formerly a hunter's tree stand. Its steps were railroad spikes and it had a little platform near the top. It had probably been laying for 10 years or more and I...
