There are a bunch of robins (maybe 20 or 30) in my yard this morning. Is that normal for this time of year?

Anybody else feel it? There were (I think) three separate shocks over a period of minutes. Rattled the windows and you could definitely feel it. I thought they were sonic booms but my daughter just texted me and was concerned because she heard there was just an earthquake at the shore.

The NWS totally missed this one. I checked the forecast around 9:00 AM and it just said "cloudy, 40 degrees". Around 11:00, some light flurries started and it never got as warm as 40. Then it just kept snowing lightly until dark. About 2 inches on the ground now.
