I'm at a loss to understand why this even matters. The Pine Barrens isn't Acadia or the Smokey Mountains, it has its own set of roads and trails, what's the point in comparing it to other parks? Plus was there ever a situation in those places where there was an existing set of trails already...

If you hold shift down and click the reload button it will ignore the cache and load everything fresh. Should work across different browsers and operating systems.

Just a heads up, with Boyd's help the NJ DEP's 2015 draft MAP is now available as a layer in NJPB Maps, so you can see what roads would have been closed had it gone through. (You can switch between the various topo/historical maps to compare.) When they have a new MAP I'll make that one...

Four days later and the yeast is taking off. Science!

I started a batch of cider today in my fancy new conical fermenter. This'll be a small one - only two gallons. Got the cider from Battleview Orchards right by Monmouth Battlefield in Freehold, added a cup of sugar, and half a package of ale yeast. The kitchen looks like a science experiment...

I still have the final backup of the gallery. (9GB worth of pictures!) The issue is that the software that ran it is long dormant. I might be able to get it moved to some other software although I'm not sure that the links would be the same.

Getting Wordpress (which is what runs the front page) and Xenforo (which runs the forums) to work together and play nice is tricky. But I can see what's possible now since it's been a while since I last looked.
