    Coyotes running wild.

This same rumor surfaced last year in Middletown (Monmouth) where there were nightly sightings of coyotes. A few people were attacked including a todler. (This was all covered by most of the area network news stations from NYC). Only this rumor was that NWS Earle (US Navy) was releasing the...

    Knockin' Around

No sign that we saw Guy. We were in the NE and NW areas. The only thing I saw was an old metal pipe sticking out between the rows on the NE side. Kinda like an old marker. We should have walked around a bit more. But we did see the locust skin attached to one of the trees that some one wrote...

    Knockin' Around

I stopped by that grove this past weekend. Very cool. I ended up flinging a tick off of me while there. While we were in the area, we stopped at Buckingham along the power lines. Same as the other reports I've seen here. Sounded like hunting dogs barking from a house or hunting club just beyond...

    Puddles

Talk about deep puddles.....if any one goes to Crosley (off RT 530) there is a deep puddle towards the end of the road. I went dead ahead through the middle of it with my F150 4x4 (there wasn't much room around either side) and the water was just about over my hood. So definately go around it if...

Plane wreckage at Bear Swamp Hill

you know....you may be right. I never noticed that. In fact, if you look towards the bottom of the photo, it looks like the stairs are sideways instead of up and down. The stairs are right behind the guys butt. At least I think those are the stairs. If thats the case then I guess that is the top...

    Coyote encounters- Crossley Clay Pits

Just wondering if any one else has run into coyotes any where in the PBs. This was my first trip to Crossley (off Rt 530 in Berkley) and about a half mile in (past the power lines) we ran into a small pack. But they immediately bolted as soon as they saw us. (Jusy my fiance and I). Needless to...

    Barrens of fire

There are a few ways they come up with the exact acres. Some fire wardens will walk the fire with GPS to get the acres. On a large fire, they'll GPS it from a helicopter. There is also a computer program (I forget the name of it) in the NJFFS division offices that calculate the acres burned. Pete
