I have to agree on the groundwater levels falling. When I first started exploring the Pines over 10 years ago, things were much wetter. Places and bogs that I visited back then had deeper water than they do now. I really hope somehow that it's cyclical and that the water table will rise...

Thanks, Jerseyman and Guy. I've always wondered what Bullock was all about. I probably wouldn't be going out on a limb to speculate that the town proper probably held buildings to house the migrant workers? I wonder where the packing house was.

It's about an hour and fifteen minutes to Atsion from Princeton, which is only 30 min longer than what it takes me from Brick. Getting to the FRM's shouldn't be too bad either, since I can just shoot right down 539.

I emailed the director of the trust yesterday. Knock on wood I'll get some kind of response either way. I'm not keeping my hopes up that there's a house open for rent, though.
