So is a potential solution just more controlled burns? Why are they letting some of these remote areas go without burning for so long? Is it just too difficult/expensive/ecologically damaging to set up fire breaks in some of these places? I would think the ecological damage from the total lack...

Interesting, the law referenced (Daniel's Law) only relates to redaction of information of some covered classes of people (law enforcement, judges, etc) from state-owned websites. But it looks like they've taken a much broader approach and just redacted everyone's information? I suppose that...
