I'm thinking some form of sedge or rush for the pink flower. - It is the bristles mixed in with the anthers to why I am thinking it is one of these, plus no nodes.

Yes, I just missed you. I was back along Lost Lane and Beaver Dam Rd to sometime around noon. There are interesting cedar swamps in both areas.

It was nice to find several plants today, at different locations. They seem to enjoy the driest, most barren, deep sand that they can sink their roots into and inches away from danger. Endangered should be changed to imperiled.

Very cool, Teegate! I might of just missed you this morning. I was scouting nearby in Penn. I saw a plane similar looking parked on the sand runway up the road, next to the building with the windsock.
