Teegate, did you happen to see the clay pipes that were exposed along the side of the first puddle after you cross the bridge by the packing house foundation? The pipes were exposed along the edge that was next to the field, right below the grass line. This was up from the area were we chatted.

Woodjin, when you say strange green boxes do you mean large like what is knocked over at Washington (2'x3'x5') or small like what is located by the base of the hill the tower was located on in Bear Swamp (1'x6"x6"). I was just curious, thanks.

There are some great organizations involved from what is listed. The expo should be very good. I was hoping to see The Lokata Wolf Preserve or The Raptor Trust on there as well. None the less it looks to be a fun time.

Most of the roads in the area are suffering to say the least. From what I saw it was from the culverts inabilities to handle the amount of water and the fact that they are set in sand. Thanks for the information. I am going to be hiking the Hampton Park area tomorrow. I was hoping the waters from the storm exposed some new finds in the old bogs and surrounding areas. I think I will play it safe and park just off of Carranza Road.
