    Slow site?

I never noticed it. Maybe it depends upon the path (handoff through servers). Not necessarily the site.

    batona trail hike

The new southern trail head is at N39 37.467, W74 26.587. From what I remember there is not much formal pull in parking but the road is quite wide so I don't think there is an issue. I do remember some serious holes in the road near by. I have a GPX track file of the entire rerouted trail if you...

    Garmin Birdseye - version 2

It took me months to get the imagery I wanted, their site is soooo slow. I'd hate to go through that again, almost worthless, I still curse them and would not bother again.

    True Piney Environment

That's a lot of stuff. I just read my medical log from 2000. I started to complain to my doctor about general aches in March. Finally in June I test positive for ehrlichiosis and babesiosis and get treated with oral antibiotic. I continue to get worse, by August my hands are constantly swollen...

We just got back from a walk at Batona camp and met up with Karl and his group. Quite a nice turnout. We cleaned up some trash.

    Controlled Burn in Batsto

They burn the grass fields at Hampton Furnace and Batona Camp every year about this time. They'll get a surprise at the Batona Camp field this year. There is a large CRT TV dumped in the middle of it, hidden by the grass.
