I tried saving the Rowan Parcel map as a bookmark, but it won't work that way. The lot lines won't show, you have to save the bookmark at the gallery selection.
Today, I went a a couple hundred yards down Webbs Mill Road from 539 and they turned me back. Not just the fires, but they are chopping the road sides. That oughta look interesting.
I saw that on facebook, and tried to follow it to the railhead at Crossley. Did you determine it was that in the photo? I have no other sources that show the buildings. But, tonight, it never occurred to me to check the 1930 aerials. Duh.

Its always been odd to me why they burn way out there off 539. Why not just burn around communities?

Well, they are using bing maps that are up to date and there are several to choose from. It's the best there is right now for property lines. This guy here is right in the middle of the Cape May National Wildlife Preserve. It's also fast.
I have a feeling when the law came out, the mapmakers said to themselves that it's best to delete all names until there's a database of safe names to post.
