    Interesting Home

Not for me at my age, but for a young family starting out, the price is right for a well built older home with room to breathe...

HERE maps - possible changes coming

I also use that Rowan Property map a lot, and they have a nice selection, including Here maps. It's typical for me to have Boyds, Google Maps, NJ tax map, USA photo maps, and the Rowan map all open and available since I do reports of the last year in January. I'm using your maps a lot now, and...

    Kettlebottoms

Oh yeah, I remember watching tv reports of times the tailing ponds would break out of their enclosures and ruin streams for years due to poor management and no maintenance. That, plus them taking the tops right off of mountains started turning the tide against them.

    Kettlebottoms

Came upon this in chasing down some information in a Facebook post. Thought some of you might find it interesting. It's very well done as far as giving the public information on a topic. https://www.uky.edu/KGS/coal/coal-mining-geology-Kettlebottoms.php

    Beaver Bridge

This is one case I'd be okay if they allowed the natural water course to resume. My crystal ball says the same will be done to the road downstream from Webbs Mill bog. Just a headache. You can see in the 1930's below they had cut a gigantic amount of cedar using couduroy roads. However, unless...

HERE maps - possible changes coming

I cleared the cache and history, but I can't close the black box, even by choosing another map selection. Anyway, no big deal not using it now. I'll try tomorrow.

    The MAP is back

Whoa Jon, those sudden outbursts calling people nasty names with cursing are concerning. Take a tip from me, write them down on your post, but then go do laundry or something for a couple hours, and then return to look at what you've written. Chances are high you'll think better of posting that...

HERE maps - possible changes coming

I only used the Here Day street map, and only for convenience. I think your USGS topo + aerials is fine for what I'm doing, and I always have Google Maps open as well.

    Mystery Mounds

Interesting. One thing they dont' mention in this Ron, is why they are shaped that way. Why not dunes like we have.

    Dennis?

I've done some plant surveys here in between Mankiller and Jack Pudding Branch recently and up by Drosera street (arrow). Always felt a little uncomfortable next to that branch. That area is dark, sober, and brooding.

    Where is this?

Good Ron, how did you find it, just looking around the topo?
