That is so lame. Thanks Gibby. Nice shot of a beautiful land marred up.
May I clip your photo and send it to some people?
Also, did they do it off range in the plains also?
Ed, in your post you said..."This is a very strange place, quite different than Wharton."
What did you mean by that? Strange how? I'm really just curious about your perception. I have my own thoughts on that.
I really like the second from the bottom Bill...the one with Glo off to the side. It reminds me how big the pines are, and how little of a footprint us explorers make. Plus, it is a good perspective type of shot.
Absolutely! It was so nice to see them in that setting. The Bamber sunset really surprised me. I love that photo. Thanks for using my photos. I was honored.
I agree with you Scott. Gabe's presentation was excellant. I really did not want it to end. I hope he does it again with even more and different photo's.
Nay, I do not jest. Never understimate the will of an author to write a factual Wikipedia article that withstands the scrutiny of their peers. Nobody wants to look like a fool, and most of the technical articles written on Wiki are written collaboratively by everyone from college professors to...
Just opinions? No hard evidence of anything? What is it that you do, just take a few snippets from headlines in order to zing out your comments in rapid-fire?
Suppose they announced they were going to Frack in your neighborhood. In order to determine for yourself if it is safe or not, the...
That is what I thought you meant. I wonder if New Orleans was scrubbed over in similar fashion and in similar time. I doubt it. I think that, except for the French Quarter for tourists, that they should have told everyone else to find a new place to live. And yes, help them do that via no...
Right Boyd, but in the same link it says..."The phrase also can have negative connotations, as some may perceive the lack of reaction to adversity as complacence, both to social and political forces."
Almost a yin-yang thing going on here.
I don't quite follow what you meant Tom. If that phrase means ""nothing can be done about it", it seems the opposite happened. They DID do something about it. Or, is your meaning that.."no use crying about it, let's just get this done".
??
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that inkberry is the pioneer here, and when the leatherleaf gets established, it will take over as it spreads vegetatively via stolons. It will form a colony and choke everything else out.
Fair enough. I could go on and on about why I loathe the war-loving, poor-hating, women-hating, greedy, anti-labor, anti-enviornment Republicans, but I'll leave it at that.
