    Forked River Mountains Tour

Ted, I noted you correctly call it Bamber, and not Bamber Lake. Thank you good sir. After all, we don't live in the lake!

    What's your favorite?

PS: I could never get used to blue cheese (yech!) as a salad dressing. But I do like it on celery the few times I eat hot wings. By the way, I find eating a lot of wings gross. When I see the all you can eat specials. I think of all the skin.

    Do what you gotta do

Sure, all I gotta do is stay one step ahead of the law. I have a sneaky suspicion that they are photographing the traffic in and out of massage parlors. I blank out my license plate and wear a wig when I go in.

The Serengeti? I think it is on Nature Conservancy land now. North of the road is owned by the sand plants.

Guy, you and I climbed a tree and took photo's of the Forked River Mountain. We also went to the back of the hill and looked northeast. Do you remember that is the mountain man retreat with the ax target board?

    Attention NJ Forest Fire Service

I had read something similar from Mr. Windisch several years prior to this. It is a good document. Prescribed mild burns are lowest on the totem pole. Back in 2005? I went on a field trip with him near Jakes Branch in Berkely. He took us to a recent burn that allowed a rare grass to flourish...

    Battle of development vs. Pinelands

Interesting article because there is so much to consider when you read it. Designated a regional growth area, they had to accept a lot of construction. Now they are frustrated because the homeowners are mad at them for not letting them do anything on their properties. By the way...the sea shell...

    Do what you gotta do

This is one strong woman. There is a quote in here that made me bust out laughing. It is so true. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/01/nyregion/at-52-a-prostitute-still-working-the-streets.html?_r=1&WT.mc_id=AR-D-E-AD-OB-TXT-TRI-ROS-0312-STATE&WT.mc_ev=click The video is interesting too. God...

Al, I call that the South Jersey Serengeti. The hill was destroyed by the sand plants until the state told them to back off and get thee the hell out of there. They demanded rehabilitation so they used a mixture of sewage sludge and other crap (or so the story goes--I have no source), and now...

    MakePeace, A PBX Hike

They deserved invasion after firing on Fort Sumter and seizing US government property. Most of the poor fought because the rich landed-gentry told them they were having their rights taken from them. In short, they were used. President Lincoln never recognized the secession as legitimate, much to...
