I am normally a careful person anyway, but this year, in addition to the rubber boots and light pants, and looking down every 15 minutes for chigger sign....I bought flower of sulphur and sprinkle it...

I love mine from Walmart. They have a little sticker on them that says NJ Peach. They taste like fluffy wet cotton with a hint (a tiny hint, like a lost memory) of peach. Then again, I was at a friends house in Bucks County PA, and the peach from a local orchard was excellant!

I'm jealous. I bought Nick some swamping boots to go with me, and he only wore them once. Oh well, one cannot expect their child to love their own passions. You are a lucky man in that regard. Nick does love baseball too though, so we do have some things in common. Go Phillies!

Was that the field in the floodplain on the west side of 206 where the guardrails are? Where I was along the Mullica today, there was quite a lot of it. Here is a particularly large clump:

On my way home, heading east on 70 (west of four mile circle), 2 fire trucks and an ambulance made everyone pull over, then they went south on 72. This was about 6? Then, the tanker from Presidential Lakes went by my heading the same direction. ??

My heart was also broken several times today Guy. I spent the day by myself in the Great Swamp. If you can believe it, they are now starting to drive right in those savannas we love. It makes me ill. Remember our Dutchtown trip? They actually drove in the main feeder that runs into the Sleepy.
