    Sunrise at 1/4 Mile Road

Actually Dave, there is bog asphodel within 225 feet of the edge of the parkway southbound lane, and with the widening, they'll be within 150 feet. Not that its relevant, just wanted to set the record straight.

    Solar Park

I understand there were promises to not go any further than what has been developed to date. Now, the door seems to be open.....and on the other side is the pine plains. http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/news/press/ocean/article_e7a57c08-b6e7-11df-9a16-001cc4c002e0.html

Bottom line: The people into snorkles and water in the floor-boards need to understand that this is not their private mudding playground. The majority of users of these Pine Barrens are against this abuse, and we want it stopped without restricting our own access.

T'was obviously a wild and beautiful land. I can see Juncus pelocarpus, Vaccinium macropcaron, and perhaps Juncus canadensis in that photo with the clay. Obviously a wetland.

From The Plains To The River

I think the sunrise photos came out quite nice Guy. That is our other lake we missed? It is an odd one to have no vegetation at the bottom.

Yeah, its tough, but I do have some ideas. I have to sketch them out. I'll piss off someone though, am positive of that.

No, not that area. That area is too important to the overall ecology of the Batsto River and as breeding grounds for important species. It is a wetland. Get them out of the wetlands.

I happen to mostly agree with everything you've been saying for the past couple weeks Dave. It is hard for you to be walking the fence on this, but I do think your viewpoint is helpful. I often am in the minority when I suggest set-aside areas (with strict enforcement outside of them) in Lacey...

    1/4 mile fun

I don't think it is predominantly that breaking the clay layer allows the water to drain (especially since clay is usually thicker than a skim coat) that is the 'main' problem, but that the oil, and other foreign matter from vehicles as well as the constant mixing is bad for living creatures.
