    Dynamicard

Am starting to get these in the mail. As if we don't have enough plastic in the world. Will have to contact politicians to stop this. We will start to see these in the street, and they likely never, ever go away. https://dynamicard.com/

That's interesting. You know what's really cool, is while looking at a river in lidar, as you scroll downstream, you can watch the numbers drop for the land around the river. At Friendship the terrain close to the river is at 50', but down to 10' at Harrisville.

I was replying to JD's post number 6. Boyd, by the way, the numbers in your lidar represent feet in elevation, right? Where did you get them from?

JD, I"m pretty sure that was an old sand dune, not a dike. Note how white the sand is too. See the lidar. It was improvised into a road.

    Jumping Brook Preserve

Hi Hawk, yes Mark and my other good friend Terry went with me. A very interesting day. I wish it were cleaned up (the paths and the overgrown banks of the bogs.) We also saw a white egret(?) when we first came in. Coincidentally, check out this notice in the Ocean County Parks and Recreation...

If you strongly feel this way, by all means write a letter to Pinelands Commission, copy to DEP.

It's unclear to me why that area was targeted by the PPA. Possibly a snake in the area? That piece of property is Browns Mills and Country Lakes. I lived in Browns Mills for awhile. It is the wild west. You can't really tame it.

Ever asked to donate a photo?

Photos in the US must number in the trillions upon trillions now. Some big number, anyway. How about 1 billion, million, million.

I'm fairly certain that was not State property at the link Guy posted.

And what of fire breaks? I'd like to have been a fly on the wall when NJCF argued over "if" that statement should be in. I'll bet there was some disagreement between senior personnel.

    Six inches of fun.

I reached down to grab this nice looking plant specimen. I pulled back just in time. Thank the Lord that I always pull from the very base. Two of the other stems had them on too.

I don't agree with this policy at all. They can kiss any donations from me goodbye. I'm sick and tired of these organizations getting into the state's business.
