    I don't believe a bit of it.

    Livesearch Maps Changes

I love that program. It works flawlessly. We have it at work. I snag stuff directly to Powerpoint from MS Project and Excel. I plan to buy a copy for home if its not too much money.

Woodland forests and rare species in N.J. preserve

Okay Guy. I'll try to put the route together Friday.

    Tent camping?

Jeez! Don't get me started German. Somebody with a truck has recently been dumping multiple sections of that nasty looking stockade fencing up and down Dover Road in Greenwood Forest. It takes 2 men and a boy to lift one section when we pick it up. Plus, it takes multiple trips to get rid of it...

Woodland forests and rare species in N.J. preserve

I agree with you on that Guy. The state put in a lot of money for that place. He ought to keep quiet regarding limiting people. I guess he's the only one allowed to see the orchids? I don't tell people all the spots I know either, but I would never think of telling the state to limit access...

    Bub's big fishing expo

Mary Emma is a little sweetheart. They grow up way too fast. My daughter is a Junior in Rowan. Like yesterday I can still remember her at 7 years old stealing cookies from the cabinet with her friends. I was in the basement coming up the stairs and saw her little booties under the door, running...

    Is this fast food?

Nice canyon. I hiked that about 9 years ago. It shocked me how beautiful it was.

    Batsto Question

Speaking of roads in the Pines, can any of you guess where this road is? It is a very cool little road, and I stop here often to just enjoy it:

Searching For The Elusive Gun Club

Good going Guy. Do you remember me telling you I had a strange feeling it was in the Bass River Forest area? I remember poring over the maps when you first mentioned it, trying to see likely clearings.

    Tent camping?

Allow me to add that it depends on where you do it. Much of the land is private, so Rangers are not a problem anyway. The owners often live elsewhere.

    Kirkwood

I could save them a lot of money. I'll answer their 2 study questions myself: First, what are the probable hydrologic effects of groundwater diversions from the Kirkwood-Cohansey aquifer on stream flows and wetland water levels? The streamflows and wetland water levels go down. Second...

Pine Barrens Clean up Oct 26th.

Do you know if any effort was made to consider a different area? It was slim pickins last year.

    abandoned house on 532

Whoops. No, its not the same. I misread it. The one I am speaking of is where route 532 and route 72 intersect by old Claytons. By the way, it never occurred to me that 532 uses 72 for a stretch.

    Making Bog Iron

If you ever become serious about it, I'll help dig and do whatever manual labor I can. I'd love to see one in action.

    abandoned house on 532

That house is a puzzle isn't it. I stood on 72 Eastbound across from it looking for movement about 4 years ago. It had a car parked in the yard, didn't it? Like an old plymouth reliant or something like that.

    Inaugural Monmouth Concours d' Elegance

Nice photos, and very nice show. I don't think that vette was boring. That is a cool car. Elvis probably drove one like that, with his hair flying.

Religious experience in the Pine's anyone?

Yes. Yesterday, I was standing by a large grassy meadow at noon. Pine trees were visible in the distance at the border. It was windy and warm, and the grasses and other plants of various sizes, colors, and beauty all their own were waving gently in the breeze, making a softly sighing sound...

    New fire roads Warren Grove

Guy, the man who ordered that chop-job shown in the photos is a stupid idiot. Did PBX, or did PBX not walk 5 miles through the woods and see the open places that fire jumped? No fire truck, or bulldozer, or ditch-witch, or line of smokeaters is going to stop a pine plains fire on a dry windy...
