    New Camera Recommendations

Jim, I don't know, I never really looked into it that seriously. I don't want to start a new thread either (or your question would be missed), but I did want to say that I am very happy to say that yesterday I took my 428th picture with the Duracell rechargeables that I originally put in the...

    Dave Amato: A Vanished Breed

Good article. If he died about 25 years ago, it was at the dawn of the Pinelands designation as a National Reserve. You wouldn't think an Italian would fall in love with the pines, would you? I'm Danish / Italian, and I sure have.

    Oh Joy!

http://www.cnn.com/2007/TRAVEL/03/08/canyon.skywalk.ap/index.html What about a series of cables attached high up in the big cedars in the Great Swamp? We can create a high walkway for tourists to traverse the swamp without getting their feet wet.

    Dave Amato: A Vanished Breed

We have to get a better scan Scott. Even though I downloaded it and opened it with my photo program, the pixel quality is not there to read it. Can you set your scanner to a super fine setting, like a "quality photo"? I'd love to read it. Do you know where the name "amato" originates? Was he...

    Bombs at Bamber

Good one! James; I wish. They at least could put Verizon on it. They only have ATT.

    Bombs at Bamber

I tried Gabe, I really did. But the closer I got the more the heat beat me back. Plus there were cops and fire engines everywhere.

    Bombs at Bamber

I heard a loud, thudding explosion last nite so I ran down to the lake. I saw a huge column of smoke, in the woods west of Bamber, evidently from the explosion. Just as I was taking a photo of the smoke column, another bomb went off. I don't understand who is doing this to my sacred woods...

    2007 Pinelands Short Course

Check this out. I was out by the old Eureka gun club with my friend Sunday, and in walking up the road from the bridge, I found the evidence Mark talked about. This stone had reared its head during the ice age when the glaciers came into NJ. It got its head shaved by wind blown ice crystals for...

    Image Gallery Service

Guy, you have to be here to see. This should not be that hard. It is not user friendly at all. I think it is the Comcast site more than anything.

    Image Gallery Service

What do the rest of you recommend for an image gallery service? I want something easy and inexpensive. I don't care about the bells and whistles. I tried uploading to my Comcast page. It is awful.

    Brave hunters

Foofoo, are you CooCoo? Have you ever been to Denali? Do you think it is tame, like, say Disneyland? Are you saying Denali is not wild? Do you realize Mt. McKinley is 70 miles from the front gate?

    Brave hunters

I have been to Alaska and have seen grizzly bears in the wild in Denali Park. They do bluff charge. I would not get close to one to try it out though. Mama didn't raise no fool. http://mountain-prairie.fws.gov/species/mammals/grizzly/misunderstood_bear.pdf

    Brave hunters

I'm sure 'ol Charles in the video wishes he had shot a couple warning shots, or at least had put a shot in the sand in front of the sow. He'll live with this one for the rest of his life. The video and music in the background will always haunt him. Foo; you said.."its unfortunate that nature...

    New Woods and Male Bonding

Wow Jeff! You got a hell of a lot done in an hour. That sulfur pit photo brings the memory back strong, if you get my drift. I was thinking of that place today a lot, since this morning I drove past it on the way to BCC, then on the way back I took Ridgeline Road in Browns Mills (another...
