    Beer (again)

The Harborview outdoor bar on Cape May Harbor has Sierra on tap. It seems even better on draft. I regularly hit the tap on the way home from the boat in the summer.

    Beer (again)

Gabe sure has ruined me for life too. My beer purchases for one week total more than my home heating bills. Gotta have your priorities straight I guess. I now use Yuengling to wash dog s*it off my boots. Ben, try Lagunitas New Dog Town. Hops city. Looks like Old Dominion might be hard...

    Beer (again)

Found a good draft in one of the 2 streetside saloons in St. Michaels. Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stoudt. Barmaid said it was better than Guinness. It was smooth as silk and had a mixture of flavors that you couldn't nail down. I am going to look for it around here. Other than that, I enjoyed...

    Fox Hunting in Waterford Township

Great article Jerseyman! It was neat to see the old place name references for all of my current stomping grounds. There are still a few fox hunters around here in Waterford and a friend of mine's father, who used to live in Atco, had over 20 fox hounds. These guys would run the dogs all night...

    Beer (again)

Lagunitas New Dog Town in front of me right now. Hopped to the top. Picked up some Never Summer, K-9 Kruiser and Dead Guy for a three day drunkfest with some gun club buds and their wives on Tilghman Island MD. Leaving in the a.m. with the cooler, the bride and the dog. Kids are holding down...

From Oswego lake to Warren Grove

I always miss the obvious. You can certainly use this website's map tool as Jim said. The topo option in this site's map tool is not the 1:24000 series maps though and the USGS 1:24000 maps will be a little more detailed. The USGS is not seamless either.

favorite spot to stargaze in the pines

You don't say Jeff ? Took this yesterday afternoon while exploring in the rain with the wife and dog on top of Spring Hill. Looks like a great star spot. Too bad it's a very remote party spot too. Pretty trashed up on top.

    Scat identification

Small canine. Red or gray fox. The white coating is confectioner's sugar. Always the prankster, the fox tries to dupe dopey domestic dogs into sampling their crap donut while they sit grinning in the bushes.

    Muscle

Somewhere I have a picture of me at 3 in 1961 standing next to my dad's new 1961 Galaxy. I have to start tearing some drawers apart.

In '71, the last year before choking anti pollution crap was introduced, you could get the Chevelle and the Monte Carlo in a 454 c.i. 425 HP version. I remember your car being available in a 440c.i. "Six pack" The neighbor kid had one. Three two barrels stacked behind each other on a high...

Now I know why you like to rip up the woods roads at 60 mph! Flashbacks. A fast car, a pretty wife and a youngster. Good times right there Bob. I had a '72 Chevelle that I drove from '75 until '82. I bought it used from my sister. Nothing too awful fast, just a 307 with Hedman headers and...

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

The D600 makes sense too because the steering wheel in the woods truck was unusually large, close to two feet in diameter. Larger wheel, better leverage. We had an F600 Ford and the larger steering wheel and air brake controls were the only difference inside the cab over a standard pickup...

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

We have a winner, congratulations Maxwell! That is the truck. The grille and inward taper below the headlights are a dead match. Now, is that a Dodge in your photo? All of the big three used to use a regular pickup cab on trucks in heavyweight classes. For example, an F-600 dump truck...

    Garmin Mapsource Updates

I had an issue with my laptop on Sunday, which runs Windows Vista, not working with my Garmin 60CSX. I usually dump my stuff into my desktop using Mapsource after a trip and manipulate points and view tracks. This is the first time I did it on my laptop. I had put the Mapsource program into it...

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

No way King. Look at the roof lines and the grille. The paint was in too good of condition for a '61. Original paint too on this truck. I will have to check some IH images.

    Vandalized Trestle

Looks like neatly executed sabotage, probably done with a cordless circular saw. Someone either doesn't like motorcycles or they are just thoughtless vandals looking to get someboby killed. Or how about this: The gap could be intentional and the builder keeps the missing panel in the woods...

Bobpbx says "Someone Snatched The Nash"

A 1976 Dodge is the best guess so far for me. http://www.tntclassiccars.com/100_0244.jpg I looked at Google and Yahoo images from 85 and back to 70. The grille on the truck that we found was heavy painted steel and was serving as a structural component in the front end. I couldn't find...
