    An assault on our rights

Bob alot of Haines ground in the app onx is listed just as private property with no information for owner. I checked it for this block and same thing. I was up that way this fall and fresh Haines signs on the boundary. Be careful if you go up that way the bridge is gone.

    Oswego and allen roads

Hey all I didn't see it here yet but wanted to post it. They are already clearing on the oswego road and getting ready to clear allen road in bass river. Both appear to be the next Washington turnpike. Allen road was graded and all the asphalt for the most part is now part of small berms...

What new things would you like to see here?

Ben odd you asked that cause I was just thinking of something as I went thru posts before I got to this one. A very minor tweak. Can you add the buttons on the bottom of a page that will take you to the end of the thread at the top as well? I would also vote to keep pine Barrens maps.

    Seafood in the Pines

Bob I will gladly eat those stale buggers covered in the old Allen's horseradish or cocktail sauce.

    Coyote Town

Coyote numbers are way up and deer numbers are way down in the pines. And yes the coyotes in the pines do pack up and bring down a deer. Like Bob said they nip at rear legs until the animal falls then it's game over.

    Seafood in the Pines

Yes Bob it was oyster stew. A friend of mine would go there just for that. Last few times I was in there it was not on the menu at all. In the 90s and early 2000s that place was the best hands down. Used to have the big oyster crackers on the table that's no more. Their horseradish and cocktail...

    Seafood in the Pines

I am likely gonna offend alot of people by saying this Allen's used to be our go to in the pines. However it is not the same. Menu has changed atmosphere has changed and the food definitely has changed. Bob I can't even remember the last time that oyster chowder was on the menu.

    The Pioneer Sportsman's Club

Scott not as crazy as it seems. Janvier in New Gretna is a dry club or at least they were last I was in there. Some clubs have folded because people like to party too much while other people want to hunt.

DEP determined to resolve pinelands access disputes

Absolutely no road closures. We do not need to pay any more fees. Unless it is a uniform fee regardless of usage or residency and they pass a law that it can only be used for enforcement, road repair etc within Wharton. It must be held in a certain account that can be audited at any time to see...
