I got a small dose of chiggers on my feet this past weekend at Bass River while camping.

Thanks to all for your kind comments. There was another baby Raccoon nearby that finally climbed a tree and went into a hole. I'm not sure where Mom was. I live near the shelter so I'll try and check out the health of the Raccoon.

Joe and I did measure a Pine tree at Harrisville, but I'm not sure it is the same Pine tree. The one in the picture seems more in the open than this one. Here is the pine with KenDawg (the pine is the one smiling) standing next to it. I'm thinking this one is larger than the one near the Oswego. This tree is at Harrisville on the pond side. Barry, Do you remember the one at Harrisville? I'll find the picture and post it. Steve

Would you believe Kristen tried to feed the turtle pepperoni the other day? Never a dull moment around here.... They still play with it! Little Walter was a blast that day. He still looks for it everytime he comes over!

That's about the only snakes I like. The kids really enjoyed those spring snakes in the applesauce can. I can still remember them laughing everytime they opened the lid. :D

I firmly deny that I ever helped you rescue a snake. :wink: That so called fond farewell would be me giving it the finger. :shock: No snakes were in my truck and forget about meeting the spider. I'd rather deal with a skunk or a bear.

Renee got it all wrong. I HATE SNAKES ! SPIDERS TOO ! The Timber Rattler I almost stepped on didn't help me get over my fear either.
