    Squealing red ant?

I think it was Ben who told us it was a Velvet Ant. The one we all saw was near the charcoal burn on the way to the Eureka Gun Club.

    Good deed of the day

Thanks to all for your kind comments. There was another baby Raccoon nearby that finally climbed a tree and went into a hole. I'm not sure where Mom was. I live near the shelter so I'll try and check out the health of the Raccoon.

Where is the biggest pine tree?

Here is the pine with KenDawg (the pine is the one smiling) standing next to it. I'm thinking this one is larger than the one near the Oswego. This tree is at Harrisville on the pond side. Barry, Do you remember the one at Harrisville? I'll find the picture and post it. Steve

    SNAKE HELP

That's about the only snakes I like. The kids really enjoyed those spring snakes in the applesauce can. I can still remember them laughing everytime they opened the lid. :D

    SNAKE HELP

I firmly deny that I ever helped you rescue a snake. That so called fond farewell would be me giving it the finger. No snakes were in my truck and forget about meeting the spider. I'd rather deal with a skunk or a bear.
