The texture and depth you get with the dew-sparkled shots is amazing. Must have been a heavy dew.
The yellow lilies are pretty, but the Lab--that gorgeous Lab--steals the show . . . especially his water-dunked close-up.
Thanks!

Great photo's!

Do you just have the one dog with you? The other recuperating?

Guy

Nice Bearberry shots. While you are out there, look for the trailing arbutus. The little pink flowers are beautiful against the leathery leaves and they smell lovely.

Bearberry is good for drying up Poison Ivy too! Use the leaves and add to boiling water to make a tea. Take cloth or cotton balls and dip them into the decoction. place as hot as tolorable on the Ivy and dab and saturate the skin. Don't scrub or smear as you could spread the Ivy. Or you could just use a commercial Ivy cleaner. It's nice to know if you're in the deep wood and have a spot or two pop out that you can use local items.

It is rare and hard to get them in any good photos together. They are both pictured. The lab is the recovering one. The other, in silhouette, is the mix/small brained one... They are never apart. I think the longest they were ever separated was when the lab was in the hospital.
