Nothing to shovel here and the rain washed away what little snow remained from the earlier storms. Wet roads could get slippery overnight, but should thaw when it gets above freezing tomorrow. This one was a non-event for me. :)

The snow plows are in front of my house right now cleaning up the sections of the road they missed earlier. They have been out for hours.

Nothing but rain here, but the snow on the ground is hanging on. Sunday/Monday may be a whole lot different.

Atlantic City Electric is reporting 4,032 customers without service. Many of them are in Burlington and Gloucester counties.
The New Jersey State Police reports road closures from downed trees and motor vehicle collisions in Burlington, Mercer, and many North Jersey counties.

What was predicted by social media was 30-40" based on 2nd hand computer models. Did anyone actually believe that? What I've been reading is another similar storm as we have been having, with higher snow amounts up north. Same old same old nuisance storms; I still haven't put Big Bertha too work, but the amateur's sure did nail this winter forecast so far. Have you heard about the upcoming Valentines Day Massacre storm?

LOL :p

As was mentioned yesterday, this is the infamous storm hyped by social media & Internet a week ago as bringing 30+ inches of snow. Its still nonsense.

Given the inordinate public interest for such a relatively minor storm event due to the hype, we will issue another briefing package Friday afternoon.
