No thunder here, just light rain. Temperature has been holding steady at 37 pretty much all day. Went into Mays Landing around noon, roads were completely clear, even the minor ones. But they were starting to flood in some spots, so if that freezes overnight it could be a mess until things warm up tomorrow.

Approximately two thousand years ago people speaking German used the word "wentruz" (literally meaning "wet season") to describe the rainy season that is Winter, and by one thousand years ago people speaking Old English had developed the word "winter".

If it is going to snow here, it'll have to get awfully cold, awfully fast. We are at 46F now, close to 50 earlier. Sun was out, a pretty nice weekend all told.
