just got back from the piney woods of florida last sunday, I left nj right before the cold weather hit us, got off the plane in newark, 15 f. plus the wind, wanted to get right back on the plane and head back south. one night it got down to 40 f., the news said do not go out side unless you have to and remember the 4 p's, people, plants, pets and pipes, my friend was mad that he had to turn on his heat. my cousins would not go diving because the ocean water was 65 f. and they think there having a bad winter.
Consider ourselves very lucky,upstate new york has already been hammered with over 100" of snow,with more on the way.They intervewed one woman on the tube,she's had enough of it already.The temp have really been brutal,with the wind the last week,going to wawa at three in the morning for lunch,it is numbifying.It's great living so close to the ocean,it makes the winters a little milder.
