This tax will also affect gas sold at marinas for boats that would have a hard time using state roads
Home heating oil and off road diesel are not taxed, they add red die to it to tell if you use it for
for on road that is taxable
If they look in your tank and it's red you'll get a big fine, that's why heating oil & off road is dyed red.How are they going to know if you pump it from your heating oil tank into your Kenworth tanks?

I've been driving longer than I can remember and for the time that I can, no one has looked into my fuel tank. They would not see anything if they did, just a metal tube that disappears into the great beyond.
I never noticed 2 different pumps for diesel, will have to take a look next time I fill my 'gasser' Is one without tax, one with? Isn't there also an IRS tax credit for diesel?
I don't know about the tax credit for diesel. Maybe I could get some of my honesty paid back in the form of a credit ??
Senate passed the tax increase; next up the Assembly. Goes into effect immediately once Christie signs.
Boyd, VW just came out with a Golf Alltrack, used to be an Audi model designation.
My work car is a VW Golf wagon. We have a fleet of 5 VW diesels and are dealing with that whole mess. We should fare well with this buy out though. Most are well over 200k miles.I'm just glad I didn't buy the diesel Volkswagen that I looked at a couple years ago.
I've got over 300,000 on mine and hope the rest of the vehicle lasts as long as i expect the motor to.I love my 6 speed 7.3l (444 cu. in.) diesel and will run it until it stops. I have had it 14 years and have 196,000 problem free miles on it. International called it the million mile motor and I am hoping that's true....Sadly, the Guvmnt has strangled the newer diesels with anti-pollution junk and there is no longer a fuel mileage advantage.
'The bill in the Assembly was A10. Search at the link, they usually include the Senate in the results with who voted yes/no. All my reps voted no.What was the # yays vs nays?
