All,

Eighteen years ago today members Bobpbx, Behr and myself set out from the intersection of Oswego road and the Red road (Stevenson) and explored along the Oswego River. One of our goals was to see Allen's Bridge where travelers from Harrisville and Martha would cross the Oswego.

One of the views along the way.

At the time the abandoned bogs at Sim Place.

And Behr crossing the Oswego.

This shows the road at Allen's Bridge leading down to the Oswego on both sides.

Nice shots! Was this your first PBX excursion?
No. My first PBX hike was "High Plains Drifting" on 2/21/2004. You can view at the link below. The Allen's Bridge hike mentioned above, 6/12/2004, was not a full PBX hike as only 3 of us went.

I really need to figure out a way to create an archive of the discussion forums for future researchers.
Much of the info I have posted here is only here and not even in my computer. You do need to find a way to do that.
