entropysedge said:NJ towns or at least the people who do inspections and issue permits don't like it when people don't go thru the hoops; I know a guy who started putting a deck up on a weekend with a couple of buddies, the township came by on Monday and made them rip out all the work that they had done, refused to even consider a permit after the fact.
Well, yeah, that's the first thing I thought of, and I understand how the township is concerned that this guy is trying to handle that much gas. They will never let him put those tanks in, so he's wasted a huge amount of money. He'd be better off moving to Wyoming.Furball1 said::v:Anyone remember the film footage of the Hindenburg going up in a blaze? I know, I know, having an exterior skin cloth impregnated with resin and metal filings doesn't help, especially with an electical storm all around, not to mention static electricity, but golly, I think he's literally playing with fire at his neighbor's expense. I wouldn't want to live next to that EXPLOSIVE experiment. An oil well would be far safer. Ba-Ba-Ba-BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!
Gah. I tried to get a permit to put in a new furnace and air conditionar last month, but the application was so completely incomprehensible. they just handed me a tome of paperwork and an accompanying attitude, and it seemed that none of the applications had anything to do with what I planned to do to the house. Between that and the outrageous taxes in my town, I just shrugged and gave up. They'll never know. It's not like we added anything, we just replaced it. To heck with them. They can fine me if they want, that would be easier than filling out those papers.bruset said:The reason being that if you don't get a permit, they don't know about the improvement to your home, and can't tax you accordingly.
