New Jersey Forest Fire Service is on scene of a wildfire burning at the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area in Barnegat Twp, Ocean County.
Crews are in the process of constructing new containment lines and reinforcing existing ones. A backfiring operation is underway to burn fuel in advance of the main body of fire.

It is in the area of the old Cedar Bridge Fire Tower Ruins on Bryant Road and Jones Road. I suspect they will let most of that area burn to the Cave Cabin Branch.

Mandatory Evacuation from Ocean Township Police Department : Nixle
Mandatory evacuation for all residences between the parkway and Wells Mills Park along Route 532. Temporary shelter at Waretown Methodist Church.
And there may be a second fire started. Or a backburn.

Mandatory evacuation of all residences East of Parkway to US Highway 9.
This site has some photos and information. It looks like horse trailers are needed to evacuate animals in many places. One article says the Lacey Industrial park may be a total loss.
