It's growing along the roadside by where the Flypoison was growing.

Yes, I guess it was a false alarm. I've looked around in the woods in this area and located over a half dozen Flypoison plants growing. The Sassafras is down the road a little and I spotted it while searching for Listeria australis, but I might be too late.Okay. I see now, its not what I thought it was, but it is interesting. Fly poison has those long grass-like leaves, so its not that.
With the Carex, would the photo be of the pistillate spike?
