Speaking as someone who has dug clams in the mud of New England beaches, for spending cash, and dredged oysters with the Cheasapeake fleet back when we opened up a bucketfull for lunch at noon, I have to say that the appeal of Clamato has always eluded me. Clamato mixed with beer? The thought alone is nearly enough to set off a gut-twisting wave of nausea.
