I'm looking to fish the more unknown lakes in the pinelands. It seems the bigger lakes are crowded now due to trout stocking. I'm looking for sunnies, catfish, or pickerel. Thanks for any help

Not sure of the area you are referring to, but almost all pine barren lakes are too acidic for trout. Lots of pickerel in the area. Use google earth and I'd say about 99% of the ponds and lakes in the parks and preserves have fish. Good luck.
I'm just looking for somewhere different to fish. I found some "hidden looking" lakes on google earth but can't tell if its fishable or on private property. I stopped a cool looking stream in Waretown by wells mills park. Nice looking water but no fish. I remember there being alot of lakes to fish in the pines when I was a kid. 
That is Oyster Creek, I have done ok fishing in Wells Mill Park, hike around to the back side of the lake with knee boots or waders and you should get into some fish.
"hidden" or hard to get to areas are some times the best spots to fish.

Okay, Buddtown. I have this area pretty wired since I used to live nearby. I have to kept my best fishing holes very secret but I will give you some real good suggestions.
The reeves bogs are good for fishing. They are a large network and there are enough areas to explore to take up most of a fishing trip. This bog is probably the best

fish the weir on the south east side for lots of action. Fish the north western size right along the shore a little before dusk for some real big ones. There are perch in this bog as well as pickerel. Catfish.

Of course there is also Mirror lake, Pemberton lake, country lakes, and what is left of Presidential lakes but they are not as remote.
whites bog has alot of bogs to fish. I have had mixed results in there. I never caught anything in this large reservior

It is very beautiful and away from it all.
Okay, there are more areas but I'm pretty tired. this should could you busy in the area. I am not as familar with the waretown area for fishing. but Wells Mills has some fishing as mentioned above. There are bass in Wells mills.

Decou is mostly vernal and can't support a fish population (not game fish anyway). There are a bunch of goose ponds, if you are referring to the one south of Decou, it is posted as private property on at least three of it's shores. I remember fishing Mannis Duck Pond a very long time ago but I cannot recall my success there.

I've heard that the dam repairs in Presidential Lakes is completed and when the water level rises it will be restocked with fish.
They have an estimate of the poundage of each species of fish and that is what will be replaced. A 3 pound fish that was removed might be replaced by 3 pounds of fingerlings. As for the Pickeral, I have no doubt about their ability to rebound. I read that they spawn early in the season so their young can feed upon the other later spawning fish.
They replace whatever was in the lake before draining. Pickeral, Bass, Sunfish, Perch, Catfish and even and baitfish. When the dam at Mirror Lake was rebuilt the state brought out the boat with the fish stunning equipment and they caught a lot of fish including many Bass from 2 to 5 lbs. Later in the day I saw them dumping all the fish into my lake which is just upstream from Mirror lake.
I would like to fish out that way in the future, I have heard a lot of good things about the fishing out by you.

Just remind me in the springtime and I'll take you out in my lake. I have a 12 foot rowboat and we can skip Texas rigged worms under the tree branches.
I had never heard that before but it would not surprise me. They are also extremely canabalistic. they say that they will take food 1/3 their body length, however I've seen them eat other pickerel nearly 1/2 their body length. In fact I have pictures.
